So, went with William to collect Jay from the Beatson. He's a bit tired but I think to be expected as he said he didn't sleep well last night (hates hospital beds). they pumped 2 units of blood into him he said from 6a.m. this morning and he's been sent home with Amoxycillan anti-biotics for his chest infection. The consultant was round today and just went over everything with him again she said that nothing was found on the CT scan they did for his brain or the chest X ray. He was so quiet coming home in the car- but then I think that was just William's driving they usually listen to the football phone in on the radio and William had it on and both are usually full of chat about it but Jay for some reason was really quiet. Guess I may be overthinking again and he's just really tired. He was a little bit nauseous when he came in but he's ok now. Think he's off to bed now he said to get a `decent kip`. At least he's home and that's the main thing.

Thanks Ann. He's gone to bed to get a `proper sleep` as he said. He said the hospital bed was so uncomfortable even though you can adjust its height etc plus the fact they were sticking tubes into him for blood at 6a.m. this morning. Yes, hopefully the antibiotics will get to work in the next couple of days. Just means it'll be an alcohol-free Christmas for him with taking the antibiotics (7 day course) but a small price to pay to have back what health he still has. Take Care.
