Had telephone call with my oncologist regarding my MRI scan on my secondary tumours in liver. Looks like number of tumours haven’t increased but they have grown slightly, so got to have two more cycles of chemotherapy, then more scans and hopefully liver resection. Currently having chemo radiotherapy on rectal tumour (no side effects yet, but early days!) Just a bit disappointed that got to have more chemotherapy before (hopefully) the liver resection. It’s been such a long 12 months since diagnosis.
Hi LincsLass
Totally understand you just wanting to get to surgery and get this resolved . Completely understand that .
They do seem to like a bit of chemotherapy in before the liver resection . My mum had it too .
It is frustrating but I think it stood her in good stead in the long run .
Hopefully this will all be taken care of in this year and you will be disease free entering a new year .
Always here is you need to chat .
