Had abdominal pain for over three weeks, plus change in bowel habits, in addition a lot of diarrhoea. GP appointment this week. Any advice as to what to ask for would be appreciated
Hi Cheshire Bloke. There’s lots of conditions that have similar symptoms to bowel cancer but it’s good to hear that you’re getting checked out. Your doctor may examine you internally and may order blood tests and a fit test. If you meet certain criteria then you may be fast tracked for a colonoscopy which should happen within 2 weeks.
