Ok so it’s been 3 days since my first Folfox treatment and to say I feel like absolute c*** is an understatement , sick once this morning , nausea meds not working , any tips on coping with this feeling , I hope this is as bad as it gets but I fear this is the calm before the storm , I hate not being able to leave the house

Hi lyncd66. Hopefully the nausea feeling will pass but if not give your 24 hour chemo helpline a ring for advice. Make sure you mention it at your next session too as there are lots of different sickness meds and it can be a case of just finding the right one. They may also reduce your dosage which can make a big difference - just don’t suffer in silence as there are lots of things to try

Hi, don't wait around hoping it'll get better, phone your team and ask for additional anti sickness pills.i was like you on my first session too and ended up loosing 5kg in a week.i was so weak I felt dreadfully, addition anti sickness worked like majic for me.give them a call.
