Hi I’ve just completed 2 cycles of capox treatment and my third has been postponed due to low platelets and a long bout of diarrhoea. Had a more normal shape poo today for first time but it was very light in colour and marbled with light clay colour poo. Has anyone had experience of this and should I be concerned?

Hi KarenMary
I definitely had light clay coloured poo after 2 cycles of Capox treatment. I assumed it was caused by the capecitabine tablets and didn't really query it. It continued through the cycles (I had 4) and eventually returned to normal after I had completed the treatment.
Had lots of other side effects as well, most of which have subsided over the past year. The main side effect I have been left with is peripheral neuropathy on the soles of my feet. Annoying but hasn't affected my mobility - I still walk at the same pace as previously!
