Hi everyone
Just getting things off my chest before this morning’s appointment. Trying to stay positive, but an worried that they will find cancer again. Having had treatment back in 2019 for bowel cancer, then in July this year being told it’s been growing in my liver since then, I’m getting checked for a hotspot in my ascending colon! Apparently, I’ve had this since 2019, hence why I’m worried. I’m not expecting any advice, but if anyone wants to share their experience please do.
Hi Kareno62.
I’ve given a long version on the secondary liver forum, but the short version is that, I have two large sessile polyps in my colon. I was discussed at yesterday’s MDT and it was agreed that my liveresection should be the priority. Apparently, these types of polys are difficult to remove. Nothing will happen for between 3 and 6 months though, so a bit of respite from it. Looking forward to my r
ection hopefully by the end of this month!
Thanks for getting in touch. I remember you from my first time on here. You were a real help to me. I hope you’re doing well.
Hi Jools63. Yes I’m good and thanks for the update. Looks like another couple of hurdles but the MDT seem to have a plan in place for you.
Hope the resection goes well and you can have a break before the polyp removal
Take care
Karen x
