One week post LAR

It"s a week today since I had my op, recovery going pretty well, discharged on Monday, still no bowel movement but was given mild laxatives, really bad constipation yesterday but fingers crossed they've finally started working, also have an infection in my belly button where they went in for laparoscopy and where a drain was in place, now on antibiotics. 

1. The surgeon is pretty pleased with how it all went  no colostomy needed and he was very happy with the join, he did say the tumour was not in the best position for surgery with a higher risk of anastomic leak. Next step is the staging which he expects in the next week or so.
