I am a 47yo wife / mother of 3 who also works full time and am obese.
My diagnosis is Stage 4 Bowel Cancer (Omentum) and recently had a a partial hemicolectomy which I have recovered well from. The oncologist has recommended 6 months CAPOX and was very clear that the average prognosis is 2 years. I'm working hard to keep a positive mindset and would like to do everything possible to remain as healthy, active as possible for as long as I can. Do any of you have experience with Cancer Dieticians and/or fitness tips that can help as my family and I start this new phase of our lives?
Reading the posts on this site has been extremely helpful and gives me hope that you can continue to enjoy life while living with this disease.
