Had really good news today after 10 months since discovering sigmoid tumour I had operation to remove it but in Sept but they then discovered a single tumour (15 mm) on my liver. Then put in 6 month (12 cycles)Folfox .Interim scans after 3 months suggested some shrinkage. However at todays review they said both the the PetCT scan and MRI liver scan were both clear and I’m cancer free. They want to rescan me in August but at cannot believe how successful Folfox has been in killing off the cancer…I realise I can’t count my chickens yet as things can turn around but has anyone else had such a good response from chemo?,
regards
Macc
That’s a top response Macc you must be in the top 5% of responders . My mum got down to a dot on the pet scan which I thought was amazing but you have done incredibly well there . The best of news .
Thats reassuring for you going forward .
Take special care ,
