Had my liver resection

Recovering from surgery, had it 5 days ago. Walking with physio, but tired. He said there was more turnours then they thought. So it’s very complicated, he got rid of the tumours but still the bad part is there, has the good part seperate. Tomorrow I’m have a pelvic and MRI. Then he will inject radium into the bad part. Then another operation to take the bad part out. Then chemo. So it’s like this puzzle in walking in

Well done HelenBK. Is it a two part resection you are having ? You are up and making progress . A lot for you to go through but a tremendous effort on your part .

Thank you court. Yes up and walked 1600 steps today. They didn’t dash what it was. But sounds lineit. The surgeon keeps saying “I have a plan”

These surgeons have a way with words . My mum’s talked about getting creative around an area that was near a blood supply . I immediately thought of arts and crafts with my mothers liver . He did not disappoint. I think they know roughly what they can achieve .

You sound as though your recovering very well .
