Hi all. Packing a bag to take along to my first Capox infusion tomorrow. Have my hat, scarf and gloves packed. Anything else I should bring? Thought I was prepared, but the closer it gets the more scared I am…….The whole thing suddenly feels so surreal. I’m feeling so healthy at the moment and I know that this time tomorrow I’ll feel anything but…..
Hi josie
I too am starting my first chemo infusion on Thursday.I was advised to take all the things you’ve packed ,including extra long phone charger ,take layers to wear after ,a book or ebook .I’m also going to take a small thermos with a hot coffee ( I make great coffee ) maybe some ginger biscuits? Or snacks to eat ? Wishing you all the best xx
Noise cancelling headphones would be good if you want to shut out all the chatter. Some people are all too willing to tell their stories while you simply wish to focus on your book or music. Puzzles could be helpful too. And ideally a companion!
Clothes that are easy access for the loo whilst one hand is attached to a drip.
All the best
Kath
Thanks Jangle! Had totally missed the phone charger! And ginger biscuits are a good call!
Hope you get on ok on Thursday too! X
