Feeling very anxious once again

How is your new job going ? Hope it’s going well . 
Just before my mum was discharged she had prolonged waits for scan results and told some of the scans had gone to other parts of Europe to be interpreted as they had a retention issue .

How is the radiotherapy going ?

You most certainly can ask about treatments you have read up on . I think that is something they will be used to now . But it is part of their job to work with you in explaining your treatment plan or any potential pathways .

Thankfully cancer for some people can be managed as a chronic condition . My mum was in / out of treatment from 2009 to 2016 as required . Obviously not everyone gets this approach but a subgroup of patients are managing it .

I am still in touch with some people who are further down the road than my mum .

job going well thanks, had 3 out of 10 sessions of radiotherapy on elbow so far all okay 

really hoping they can manage this after chemotherapy my lung went from 17mm down to 7mm so that’s a result and lymp node was no longer there.
