Hi All
Some 6 months after his colonoscopy and gastroscopy which revealed a small gastric tumour and follow up gastroscopy in December where a biopsy was taken we finally had a letter yesterday from the consultant discharging him from his clinic so good news for him.
So we'll say goodbye to this group and wish you all well with your future procedures. I'll still be around as I had a recurrence after womb cancer with mets everywhere so I'll be looking in from time to time but I post mainly in the Womb, Chemo and incurables groups
Big hugs to all, Barb xx
Hi Karen, thanks for your good wishes. Yes the recurrence was a bit of a shock to say the least, thought I was home and dry - was from the womb cancer, no sign of that.
Had my 5th palliative chemo yesterday and apart from peripheral neuropathy driving me mad not too bad so far, will take a break after cycle 6 and plan the next stage.
Hugs, B xx

Hi Barb,
Good news about your husband. I thought if there had been any problems you would have heard by now. My husband has just had another 2 months in hospital, but I think they have sorted the problem. Apparently the bowel was lying in a funny way, and he had a lot of adhesions. The stoma now works well and he eats like a horse. I'll be hanging around here for a while, yet!!! Hope you are getting on Ok xxxx.
Hi NannyAnny. Thank goodness he's finally making good progress, it's been a really long journey for you both so sending you lots of virtual hugs.
I'm doing well, just had 5th chemo so hopefully my CT scan after chemo 6 will show some good news.
Big Hugs, Barb xx
