Well, my husbands stoma is working too well now!! Apparently it is filling up every 2 hours overnight!!! Can you get large bags to attach overnight? In hospital he seems to have had a large bag attached to his tummy one with a connecting tube.
Or, might this settle down when he is eating more solid food. Only on icecream, jelly and yoghurt as yet? I have read Artsie's tip of eating crackers before bed. They are talking of letting him out end of next week. I won't hold my breath!!!
Unfortunately if his surgery is recovering well The next step is the Stoma nurse deciding whether he's handling his Stoma well .
If he's goi its when he gets home that the work starts .White food and Chicken.
