My results from bloods were ok. Everthing normal there. Then thr oncologist said there was a very small something in my liver, tiny. But said the PET team wouldn’t commit to what it was. So getting an MRI soon to check it out. He said it might be a cyst. As I had then before and they were removed 2 years ago. Was disappointed as I thought so soon after surgery and chemo that I’d have a better report. Had operation in April last and chemo finished in August.
Oh sorry you did not get the report you had hoped for but your body has been through so much . After 35 scans I can absolutely assure you lots of bits are mentioned in there and gave my mum quite a fright. I remember having to talk her around when she discovered she had a previous aneurism in her kidney .
The important thing that is surfacing in my opinion is it’s so small they are unable to commit to what it is . My mum never had that . It was always suspicious, even at 1cm .
You also have a history of liver cysts .
Hopefully the mri will put your concerns to rest .

I do think like the outside of our bodies the inside can be less than straightforward. It took sitting through quite a few to realise the best way forward was to take my lead from the team .
You have a very thorough team though as they are not sitting on this and investigating it thoroughly .
Still holding out that it’s quickly dismissed for you .
