Scans

Try not to worry, they do the scans to take measurements so they can compare them later down the line to see how the treatment is working. its good they have organised this quickly, its like everything is fast forward when you first find out. try to relax as the stress wont help. once yo have a plan in place it will be easier.

That really does sound very quick - & all this intervention will be good for you - as whatever, the results, you will be on a positive treatment plan very soon.

Your feelings right now are very natural, & of course you will be feeling 'it's the worse news.' But often - it's not. if it's Bowel Cancer....it's a very treatable one.

That’s really good news. I was the same all scans done within a week just after colonoscopy. It’s great they’re acting quickly Try not to think about the outcome. You won’t get any diagnosis until the MDT have met and have their treatment plan. Least that’s how it was with me.

Yes that’s the way. I learned to put it to the back.  It crept forward but push it back we must. I had quite a wait after my scans. I’m just preparing you for what might happen.  The good thing is you’ll have a nurse from your colonoscopy that you can phone to see how things are progressing.

Thank you - I haven’t got a nurse tho was just given numbers for the endoscopy dept. Yes wasn’t sure how long they would be getting back to me as said they had to have MDT meeting first - thanks I won’t get as stressed now if it’s a while. xxx

Thank you Court - I think it will be off to bed for me when get home so tired stressed myself out.  Had the CT - got MRI at 2. xxx
