Low blood count

I’m receiving folfox chemotherapy but this has now been delayed twice due to low cell count related to bone marrow. Is this something I should worry about? I have only had 1 treatment so far and wonder if there’s an alternative if this drug combo doesn’t suit me?

Hi I meant to reply last night but unfortunately a lady ran into the back of my car and I got caught up with the arrangements. All is well though .

I think Oxaliplatin is a big of a brute at times snd my mum’s platelets took a bit of a hammering . She only required a small reduction in Oxaliplatin to level it out . Saying that her platelets remained low throughout and on the borderline but she managed through it and subsequent surgery.
