Hi
A month ago I was diagnosis with Bowel cancer that looked like it had spread to the liver . At the time drs we’re not very optimistic.
On Friday I received a call saying they had got it wrong . I didn’t have cancer .scans had been misread and nothing showed up in the colonoscopy
it was in-fact an impacted bowel with a shadow .
obviously the relief is enormous. However I still find this new diagnose hard to believe . How could they be so sure and yet get it so wrong .
Being on this site really has got me through this last month.Only with the the support on here Have I managed to get through the long days and weeks .
Everyone was so kind despite what they were going through ,and always had time to give words of encouragement and understanding.
There are no words to describe the gratitude I feel .I must also thank court ,who always rationalised things for me ,especially when my mind was so completely muddled .
Still have some way to go ct scan picked up a few health issues , so I find myself going along a different path . Fingers crossed .
however if anyone wants to chat or needs a listening ear .I’m still here . ( I’m not sure if I’m allowed to stay . Just want to put something back in the group and help if I can. ) thank you
