At what point? Certainly I had some awful bleeding prior to radiotherapy. The nurse said the radiotherapy would stop it and it is much improved. It didn't stop completely and there is still some most times when I pass faeces. I really try to eat iron rich foods and so far haven't been anaemic.
Hi FeKfe I had some terrible bleeding and clots I had to have transfusions I'm starting chemo Friday but mite have some terrible bleed with that I was thinking of asking her if I could have radiotherapy they said it would stop the tumor bleeding I'm on folic acid iron tablets only been taking them for 38 weeks
Oh goodness,how awful. I did search for bleeding when I first was on this site and was surprised nothing much came up. I think it's the shrinking of the tumor that reduces the bleeding so maybe the chemo will do that too? Sorry, I really know very little! Best of luck with your treatment x
