I have my third infusion tomorrow.
After the first infusion I was nearly sick but took an anti-sickness pill and lay down and that helped.
After second infusion I was sick before taking the pill.
Third infusion tomorrow, any suggestions as to how to avoid being sick when I get home?
Hi Jopeg
I remember those days well with my mum ! I think she mentioned it to her team and they added something in but it’s all too vague to be reliable anymore !
Not sure what time your appointment is but wondered if you would be able to catch the helpline staff 0808 808 0000. The nurses might have a few tips up their sleeves!!
Hope it goes better today

Hi Jopeg. Tell the chemo nurses about it so they can sort something out during your treatment. I seem to remember being given an IV antisickness before the oxaliplatin was put through. There are lots of antisickness meds so it may just be a case of trying a different types day finding the right one for you
Hope it goes ok
Take care
