Sickness after Oxaliplatin infusion

I remember those days well with my mum ! I think she mentioned it to her team and they added something in but it’s all too vague to be reliable anymore !

Not sure what time your appointment is but wondered if you would be able to catch the helpline staff 0808 808 0000. The nurses might have a few tips up their sleeves!!

Hi Jopeg. Tell the chemo nurses about it so they can sort something out during your treatment. I seem to remember being given an IV antisickness before the oxaliplatin was put through. There are lots of antisickness meds so it may just be a case of trying a different types day finding the right one for you

I was given another pill and wasn’t sick and didn’t feel sick either.

The coldness sensitivity thing is bad though. Not that the two things are connected.

Great news about the sickness Jopeg and hopefully the cold sensitivity will ease off after a few days x
