Hello Nan Nan,
I got a port which I believe is a Hickman line. No problems with the procedure and worked so well with chemo. And no pain or upset. It’s well worth it. I finished my chemo 2 weeks ago. But every 8 weeks I go to get it flushed. Takes 2 minutes and is painless. The procedure itself can be fully asleep or a little awake. I choose being a little awake. But no problems at all. They are so good at it now. Very best of luck.
