Finished my chemo, then had a scan. Normally I’d hear within a few days. Waited then rang the oncologist office. She told me he went on holiday, so it’s another week of waiting. So stressful.
Thank you, it’s a lonely feeling. I’m hoping for good news then next minute panic.
going to a garden centre tomorrow just to get out. One of the first visits out since my operation.
Agh! I remember waiting for our very first scans. It was only a week but felt a lifetime. When we mentioned it to the doctor, he said “ oh, I forget, for you 7 days is an eternity, for me it’s just a work week and it flies by without getting everything done I planned.” Best wishes.
