I know it's early days but having symptoms and placed on the cancer pathway today for further investigations. May not be cancer but samples have raised a concern. Bowel cancer is rife through my dad's side of the family. We lost him back in the 70 s aged just 50. My last colonoscopy said that the prep wasn't good but they didn't want to see me for three years. Looks like another colonoscopy is now on the cards and waiting for the appointment. I'm also waiting for radiotherapy in the next few weeks after breast cancer surgery. Just call me lucky!! I am wondering will they do a colonoscopy during radiotherapy treatment as they are likely to come through together. I don't want to delay the colonoscopy would rather get it over with any ideas?
