with hay fever around the corner...I'm wondering which is the best tablet to take....Does anyone know if it's ok to take piriton with radiotherapy and capecitabine tablets ?
will it interfere with the treatment ? I'm hoping my tumour will shrink for surgery...so don't want anything to interfere with it.
I would like to take piriton as it helps with sleeping....which I have trouble with...I am taking Zopiclone for that...which sends me to sleep....so not sure what to take!!!!
has anyone else suffered with hay fever while on cancer treatment ? And what helps? I was on Capox...but had to be stopped after just 2 cycles ....
Hi Davisio welcome to the forum. I saw your post and popped in forma another thread to offer some words of wisdom!!!!
Im wondering if you have access to a local pharmacy as these folks in there are great and a phone call to them could get some answers for you about whether its safe and if its ok to take these and if so what dosage is safe for you.
Hi
I take prescription hayfever medication since mine are really bad all through the summer. I told my oncologist which ones in our first meeting and same with the pharmacist and they both gave it the all clear. I need to check if my eyedrops and nose spray are okay still since I forgot what they were the pharmacist couldn't say if they were OK or not.
So check with your cancer nurse, they should know or be able do redirect you to the pharmacist.
Em x
