I everyone

I am currenty on my 3rd cycle out of eight I am having capecitabine and Oxaliplatin chemopharpy

This weekend was the first time I have had stomach pains that disappear when I lay down

I would like to know if this is common  or should I contact my doctor

The other thing that may have caused the stomach pain is I have started to self caffitar...I have sent a urine sample on Thursday to check I do not have any infection but have not heard any news

If anyone has had the same problem I would love to hear from you

Xx

  • Hi . Do you have a 24 hour helpline that you can ring for some reassurance? Alternatively you could ring the nurses on here on 0808 808 00 00.  has also been experiencing stomach pains so may be able to compare notes?

Glad to hear that you got to the bottom of it Wrox. I have my 4th cycle tomorrow and hope to find out more from the oncologist prior to the treatment. I have to say though that lying down doesn't really increase or decrease my pain. Will let you know if I hear anything ground breaking.

    Take care
