I’m just wondering if anyone had really bad fatigue as a symptom of their bowel cancer ? I’m literally wiped out most days it’s a real struggle to do anything . I’m wondering if this will go away Once I’ve had my surgery ?
Hi, funnily enough just this week I’m feeling the same? I’m exhausted, I’ve only been to the shops this morning and feel like I’ve done a full days work. I’m sat in the chair falling asleep and yawning. I do hope this will go away once the thing is gone x
I get up and think I feel ok but an hour later I’m really struggling . All this week I’ve had to go back to bed for a couple of hours . That’s after having 10 hrs sleep This time next week fingers crossed I’ll be out of surgery
Is your surgery LAR? Mines open but I know a lot of people have keyhole. I’ve got a possibility of a temporary stoma, fingers crossed it’s not needed but I won’t know until I wake up. Are you all prepared and ready?
Hi Takayasu, I am also extremely tired! I actually felt ok energy-wise after surgery, but since starting the chemo I am fatigued & have brain fog! Hopefully you improve soon.
