I guess I should give a bit of info first. I was feeling unwell at work on 31st July this year my arms were really sore and it had been building up for about 2 weeks. The GP told me to come for a blood test and my ck levels were over 5000 so I was admitted to hospital that night. I had the IV treatment for that and was sent home on 3rd August. The next morning a GP rang me and told me I had Myeloma. 2 days later I had a ct scan with dye and I have node positive muscle invasive bladder cancer also. Since then I have had multiple scans and 2 biopsies (bladder and bone marrow). The myeloma is asymptomatic for now. The doctors so far have been amazing in how quickly things have been moving. I start chemotherapy and Immunotherapy next Friday for 12 weeks and will then have my bladder/womb/ovaries and a lymph node removed after christmas then 8 months of immunnotherapy following that. The past 2 months have been hard to say the least as I also lost my daughter on 5th September suddenly. I guess I felt like I should reach out to others because I am trying my best to stay hopeful and positive but even that can feel very lonely at times. So much has happened in such a short space of time.
