This is just a hello. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer on June 19th

Hello RobS and welcome to this friendly and supportive group. Not had BCG myself but many here have and should be along to help with advice and answers to any questions. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.

Thanks Rily, I'll check ut the BCG related forum as well, if there is one. But after two TURBT's (the second a 'redo') I am glad to start some kind of treatment.. Best. Rob

Hi Rob and welcome to the forum. There are a few of us on here in the BCG Club, all with varying diagnosis and length of treatment. I have recorded mine in my profile, if you click on my name it documents my BCG time and reactions so far. I am due to have number 22 in January 2027 !! It is not an easy road but I have found doable. some on here have  found the reactions much tougher and have had further discussions with their teams as to what alternatives they can take. I am 3 and half years since my 1st turbt in 2023 and no recurrences of my high grade tumour. Stick with the group, they are lovely people who have steadied me through the lot. I love them all for always being there.Take care

This is an uncomfortable process in physical, psych and metaphysical spheres. That is a really encouraging and helpful account. As  a newbie, that was wonderful. Thank you RobS

I'm doing really well, mentally and physically, thank you. I'm excited to be rejoining my philosophy group this evening for a new term after the summer break. The subject this term is: Presence of Mind. Totally apt.
