Hi everyone, i have been diagnosed with Muscle invasive bladder cancer 3 weeks ago......its spread to pelvis and lymph nodes. I have a appointment to talk about chemotherapy treatment next week what can I expect? Its making it all seem very real now.... im scared. X
Hi CatherineLisa and welcome to this friendly group. Lots of varying experiences here to help you along the way. The initial chemo is usually called Gem/Cis. A combination of Gemcitabine and Cisplatin, but could vary. I had six weeks of this and coped quite well. Once you find out exactly what you will be having, we should be able to support you more. Feel free to ask any questions or just come to talk. Best wishes.
