Sorry to bother you. Have just had a Cystoscopy because I had bleeding. They have discovered something in my Bladder. Very worried it is Cancer. I have got to have Biopsies. I suffer from anxiety and depression. Very frightened.
Kind regards James.
No I went into renal failure because strictures and ended with SPC as the build up pressure to kidneys from fluid as bladder failure to empty it can be repaired without bag
Thanks Jas1978. I am having trouble with my stricture now and am just passing small amounts of urine with a pain in the end of my Penis. I think I need to be in hospital but that did not work last time. Getting desparate. I got to M&S but needed my pad on the way back. This is awful.
Kind regards James.
Hi all. The pain has now ceased but I do not understand why or how. I lay down for a bit and passed a lot of wind and the pain at the end of my Penis eased off and I started to pass more urine. I am a control freak and like to know what is happening so I know how to control it. A Macmillan Nurse said it might be Prostatitis as my urine was burning a little. My water sample at the hospital was clear of infection.
Just don't understand this.
Kind regards James.
Hi James,I hope the pain stays away and you are able to get some rest tonight.Best wishes Jane x
Hi James. Good to know you are feeling better. Not long to go now for your TURBT. Once this is done, you will have a lot better idea of what you are dealing with, and they can come up with a plan going forward, Best wishes.
Hi James,
I remember you from the prostate cancer forum. Phew that was a journey. I wondered how you were getting on. Do you think you could have passed a small kidney stone ? The sudden way everything stopped and you feel better could be something like that maybe, hope you get on well .

Retrovanian BCG can really upset the prostate, which can cause burning / aching penis syndrome and pain in rear end when sitting. I had it all when I was on BCG. Speak to your specialist nurse, who may be able to help. Leo
I think the burning on the bladder from the BCG radiates outward, and because it is passed out through the urethra after the two hours, it has a similar effect on the prostate and penis, which for me lasted for many weeks but gradually improved within the time period.
Hi BarryW I am in it up to my neck again. Once you get to 65 things start going wrong.
I have not had any BCG treatment yet but it sounds awful. My GP seems to thing that because I have distended bowels and IBS that there is a nerve link between The bowel an bladder the clinicians are looking into and on releasing the bowel bloating it helped my waterworks. I seems to have done it again today. A few hours ago I had some burning, but on releasing wind and passing a large stool it has now gone. Thanks guy's for your input I gratefully appreciate it.
Kind regards James.
Just looked at the leaflet the hospital gave me on TURBT and the things that can go wrong are horrifing. The Pain you can go through for up to six weeks after is ridiculous. I am really worried and am doubting if I should have it done or not. It is supposed to remove the abnormality from my bladder and stop the bleeding I have been getiing, but the operation seems to cause more bleeding itself. Very worried about this.
Kind regards James.
