Hi I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Nov 2021. Had a turbt within 2 weeks followed by 15 treatments of bcg vaccine starting in Jan 2022. First 9 were no probs at all, then 10,11and 12 experienced more discomfort with needing to pee very frequently. After my cystoscopy in Oct 22 I was prescribed Tamsulosin and Mirabegron for that issue. Within 2-3 weeks I was peeing normally 6-10 times in a 24 hr period. However since my 13,14 and 15th batch I am peeing even more than before. I am up 6-8 times every night and going umpteen times during the day. My last treatment was in mid Feb, so here now end of May still going lots. Tablets dont seem to be doing anything. My next cystoscopy is end of June so will speak to nurse to see what if anything can be done. Just wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same, and how long this is likely to go on for. Luckily I dont have any pain, its just the annoyance of peeing so often. I'm drinking plenty as seems to be the advice, but of course that's a catch 22 as that makes you go more often. Just hope there's light at the end of tunnel. Anyone's thoughts would be gratefully received.
