Hi I am a newbie here, iv'e recently been diagnosed with TCC , had cystoscopy back in October, then I went into hospital  in November for a bladder resection, I have just had my results back to confirm this and also I have another Cystoscopy/ Biopsy the end of the month. just very anxious to know what to expect next really, i'm very hopeful though that they have caught it early.

  • Hi  and welcome to the group. Many of us have been where you are now and understand what a worrying time it is, but be aware bladder cancer can be treated successfully. A follow up TURBT is par for the course and usually not as severe as the first. Just a mopping up operation to check nothing is missed and gives a more accurate diagnosis. You may also be called for a CT scan to add to the picture. You should be given a stage and grade and this determines the next step. Feel free to ask anything. Lots of varying experience here. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
