I'm back had bladders tumour in 2019 and now another. First time around I just got on with it and was reassured it was low grade . I let go of fears quickly. This time I'm projecting all sorts. Husband due op on 9th Jan as he needs defibrillator. Overwhelming at the moment as awaiting scan . I'm sure I will find my inner strength again. I wish you all well. Turbt to come .
Hi Seahorse . Nice to hear from you but sorry to find you back here, Unfortunately we know how this thing can have a habit of coming back. The positive is that we are monitored closely and so any recurrence can hopefully be caught early. Obviously a worrying time but good to know the TURBT is planned. Lots of support here if you just want to talk and get things off your chest as you move forward. Best wishes.
Hi seahorse. Sorry to hear the tumor is back. But please, don't worry too much. When was your last check? CT scan or cystoscopy? The most probable outcome is that you have a similar lesion as the first. I.e., TURBT, cytology, treatment and checkups. I hope you will soon see that you can let your fears go, just like the first time. Good luck and let us know!
Thanks for your reassuring reply I'm camera now I have Turb 1st Feb. Scan on kidney 5th Jan. Had cystoscopy . Think there is a shock and then coming to terms process . .thank god for good people and this community to bring back perspective. Love to you all. Xx
