hi all I'm a 72yr old male,after my 1st dionysius 4yrs ago my cancer returned now having chemo and am about to have my 5th shot although I've not had any bad side affects I've had some was wondering if others have had any or is it just me becoming paranoid, they are feeling hot , lower back ache, feeling sick ,tender lower tummy ,is it just me????
Hi Kev72 and welcome to the group. Sorry to hear your cancer has returned but we know this is the nature of bladder cancer. What sort of chemo are you having? Is it directly in to the bladder or intravenous? Whatever it is, we know that any chemo has all manners of side effects which we tend to overthink. Some people sail through treatment, but most have some sort of aches and pains. Always best to mention anything untoward to your nurse at your next treatment. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
