Hi Robbo 72 and a welcome to the group. I am sure you will get plenty of support here as you go forward. Bladder cancer was once regarded as an older persons disease, but over the years we have seen many younger people with this. Firstly, be aware that bladder cancer can be treated successfully. The TURBT is the first procedure to remove what they can. A fairly routine op. Usually done in day surgery, but prepare for an overnight. In the meantime, it is important to drink plenty of water to keep things flushed out and help prevent infection. Feel free to ask anything. Many of us have been there. Best wishes.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
