Hi, just wondering if any one else feel like I do, I have been diagnosed with bladder cancer last October and have had 2 operation, my issues are I don’t feel ill, not in any great pain, by the which I’m very greatful for, but I suppose I feel a bit of a cheat.

  • Hi and welcome to the group. The way you are feeling will be familiar to may of us. A cancer diagnosis really messes with your head. In a lot of cases there are not  many outward symptoms. You can clear your body of cancer, but the emotional side of things tend to linger on. You will get lots of support here as you go forward as we understand. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Thanks, it seems strange, especially when you hear, see other people with cancer.

  • I know what you mean, when I was first diagnosed I felt so odd, having a serious condition yet feeling perfectly well. It's one of the sneaky features of cancer that it can get quite advanced before making its presence known. You're not cheating at all!

  • Hi Graham666,Welcome to the group. You are certainly not a cheat,we are all different.I was the opposite to you.I looked ‘ghastly’ according to my next door neighbour and I felt terrible before diagnosis.I hope you find some support here.Best wishes Jane

  • I must say that when I went into hospital for my RC. I felt fine and didn't really feel ill at all and it was somewhat similar after.

It doesn't matter where you go, there you are
