Well the day came and the operation was done.
Got converted from day case to overnight.
General anesthetic - don't remember a thing!
Very little pain - catheter is the worst bit, other wise dull pain.
They got it all out, but don't know state of it till histology cames back. As is expected.
Couldn't have chemotherapy in bladder after, as bladder wall is thin apparently.
So now just the waiting game on results.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.
Hi Tomsk , I hope you feel ok after your op, I go for my second one June 10th so fingers crossed it goes ok .As you say it’s waiting for results which is hard as your mind runs riot in between each stage of treatment but hopefully all will be well with us and we can keep focused on moving forward. Best wishes Nelbell
Wish I was home! Wait for doctor to sign me off so I can go home.
Feel fine. Good urine flow that is pretty clear now.
Catheter in for a week I think.
Just want to be home.....but seem to be low priority as basically I am fine....
Don't like waiting....nurses are all lovely mind.
