Hi just joined the group. I have been diagnosed with Non-Invasive Bladder Cancer. I had the TURBT op about 2 months ago. The Consultant is confident he got all the Cancer out but I am now having (or will be next week) a course of Mitomycin to make sure it is all gone. Hoping for the best.

Hi Bikerbob and a welcome from me. Good to know you have had your TURBT procedure. Not had this particular treatment myself, but know it is designed to mop up any rogue cells and help prevent recurrences. I hope all goes well for you.
Hi bikerbob, Mitomycin worked well for my OH. Be aware it can be so irritant doing it's job that you might not be able to hold on, so pads for the journey home could save a lot of hassle. And don't skimp on the washing advised to make sure none gets left on outside skin, or you could be very sore. Hopefully they will explain thoroughly.
