Hi all hope you are all ok today , I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how long they waited for their second biopsy before they started their treatment, I had my first one sort of mid March , apparently I have to have a second one ( sort of mopping up any cells left behind) but I just wondered what sort of time scale I am looking at , thanks to anyone who can shed some light . Best wishes Nelbell
Hi Nelbell
I was waiting around 6 weeks between TURBT and biopsies then about 2 months before BCG treatment started and I've recently finished the first 6 instalments and am now on a 6 weeks break before an inspection and the next 3 instalments.
Best wishes and take care.

It was about 2 months for me for the follow up TURBT. They need to let the wound heal first so they have a clearer view of what they are looking at. I also had an MRI and CT scan in between. Best wishes.
Hello Nelbell, I had my first TURBT on 19 June 2020, followed on 3 August by my second one and I also had a third on 3 December. I'm not sure if everyone has a third one, as far as I know two is the norm. Take care.
Thank you Stu for your reply, I think I understand how it works now , I am also going to have BCG, hope all goes well with you and if it’s not being insensitive, can I ask you how it’s going with your treatment and any advice would be appreciated.Best wishes Nelbell
