Hi everyone , I had my TURBT last Thursday and all went well as far as I know , my question is my catheter is so uncomfortable, I’ve had it changed once as it was too big , then it came apart at the valve minutes after the nurse left so I put it together again but next morning I had to get nurse back out and she re-positioned it but it is still so uncomfortable, is there anything you guys can think of that may help , I’m due for review on Friday this week and I’m hoping they will take it out ! Thanks for any tips you can give me
Hi Nelbell. I have only had catheters in hospital, so no real practical advice. I can only suggest you get back on to the nurse to see if they can help. I hope all goes well on Friday for you. Best wishes.
Hi Jane , I hope I never have to have one in again lol , hopefully results will be here probably next week sometime , I’m so pleased this group is here for support as I am worried about what might lie ahead and will most likely be asking questions of you all if that’s ok love Nelbell x
Hi Nelbell,I’ve found this group so helpful.I don’t think I would be coping as well with my mum’s death if I couldn’t ramble away on here.I got so much advice before and after my surgery too and that made a difference.Ask as many questions as you like, there is usually someone who can advise.Love Jane xx
