Hi I was diagnosed last week , came as such a shock as I guess it was the same for all of you . Hope to get support on here as I’m a bit she’ll shocked and would love to hear how everyone is coping .

  • Just to say hello and welcome Nelbell. Distraction between diagnosis and treatment and between biopsies [usually taken during a TURBT] [Trans Urethral Resection of Bladder Tumour] and lab results seems to be a good coping mechanism.

  • A cancer diagnosis is always a shock. Once you have more information & a treatment plan, even if unpleasant, helps you see the way ahead better. Hope you have friends & family for support, but feel free to chat or ask questions here.

I used to listen to podcasts (or soothing music) if I had sleepless nights. Still do sometimes!
