I have just been diagnosed and now am waiting for histology results to determine a way forward. Apart from the obvious I am overwhelmingly tired and have extremely aching legs, one of which is swollen. Is this normal? When should I feel human again?
Hello Wilf and welcome to the group, although sorry to hear you are in some discomfort. I am sure you will get lots of support and advice here as you go forward. The early days of uncertainty and not knowing can be the worst. If you have recently had a TURBT op it can take time to get over it. Some people have more of a lingering effect of the anaesthetic than others. Swollen leg does sound unusual, so it may be an idea to call the hospital for advice. Have you been allocated a dedicated CNS ? Once you get your results, a plan will be put in place which then gives you something positive to focus on. Best wishes.
