Hi
I am new to the forum , went for a flexi on monday , found small red patch five areas together on anterior bladder 5mm each approx , in for a rigid cystoscope on thu , could it just be inflammation or is it defintely a re occurence ??
Hi Alpacino (Great Name) and welcome to the group, although sorry to hear of your worries at the moment. The subject of red patches comes up on here frequently. In some cases it turns out to be inflammation, but not always. I have had a few scares myself over the years. The problem with red patches is it is difficult to visually distinguish between these and new growths. It takes biopsies to confirm. Unfortunately there will be a couple of weeks wait for results which is always an anxious time. The positive is that it is being investigated. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
