I have just been diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer and have had 2 operations to cut it out. I am starting immunotherapy soon.
any advice welc

  • Hello  and welcome to the group. By immunotherapy, can we assume you are to start BCG treatment? Not experienced it myself, but others here will be able to help. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Good afternoon Scotsman and welcome. If as Riley says it’s BCG you’re having then it’s all fairly straight forward. Have catheter introduced then BCG fluids , wince a little bit , over in 5 minutes. Hang on to the  BCG for 2 hours then have a pee. That was easy and after the six weekly procedures are complete  you’ll wonder what all the fuss was about, best wishes, John.

Thanks WallyB, for the re-assurance. I am positive by nature and so believe it will work. Thanks again.
