Hi I am new to the group I have been diagnosed with bladder cancer and been told that I have to have bladder removed hopefully within the next few weeks.i have come to terms with this however I am having pain in my side and also seeing blood on my urine has anyone else had this problem I have been told that I need to build myself up ready for the operation & think I may have overdone it this weekend thanks
Hi and a warm welcome to the group, although sorry you find yourself here. Various aches and pain are not unusual in these circumstances. The important thing is to drink plenty of water while waiting for your op. This helps keep things flushed out and prevents blockages. Lots of experience here so feel free to ask anything.
