Hi,Finally I’ve had a letter with the results of the CT scan done in April.Good news,it’s clear of cancer.I’ll be followed up with a phone appt in 6 mths after a blood test to check kidney function. The next scan will probably be next May.Love to you all Jane xx
Hi, ,I'm feeling good, got the dreaded covid last week, only mild symptoms, been isolating for 10 days but back to work on Monday, good job I had the 2 jabs other wise could have been worse, so pleased for you with your scan results, love to hear good news take care, Margaret (margben) xx
The best thing about having COVID plus jabs is that you have best protection from catching it again margben, haven't you done well? Hope your good health goes from strength to strength.
Hi Margaret,I’m glad you are ok and will be able to go back to work. The Covid levels are rising in our area.I’m still being very careful as my partner is vulnerable due to his muscle disease. He spent more than a year indoors and is still wary of going out.It makes me upset that some people don’t stick to the rules. They obviously don’t care about people who have had to shield.Take care, love Jane xx
People have just stopped remembering that some are in danger I think. Which is uncaring indeed. Caring more about the footie tonight, overall short term thinking, which is encouraged by media and politicians-they don't want to be held to account for stuff, anyone looked up The Good Law project lately?

You are remarkable, can I ask the group, how long between chemo then surgery did people wait. I finished chemo 18th May, had to wait 3 weeks before CT scan which showed no sign of tumour saw consultant 3 weeks ago he gave me all consent forms etc BUT have had no further communication re surgery date. Getting way too anxious now
Hi Katy G, do you have an allocated clinical nurse specialist? These nurses can be a lifeline when you feel anxious. Hope you get more information soon. x
