Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi Rictic, sorry to hear that your platelet levels are low, it must be frustrating. Do you have an appointment to go back for Chemo next week? Do you attend Royal Stoke? I was there on Monday for my 13th BCG instillation.
Love Ade xx
Good morning Ade ive got my next chemo on 30th July at county hospital they gave me a break so hopefully the platelets will be ok by then take care Phil x
Hi
Very common to have break in chemo. I had to have two due to liver function. You do get frustrated and a little anxious because it's your treatment, but it's quite common and things do go back to normal in most cases.
It’s still warm here.Poor John is ill with ulcerative colitis and I’m not feeling good either.I’m having palpitations so will need to get checked.I used to be on beta blockers but they stopped them.No more house viewings booked here yet.Love to all.Jane xx
Hello Jane, I hope John receives effective treatment to ease that nasty condition. Could your concern for him plus the constant background stress regarding house selling have triggered the palpitations? A check-up is probably wise. I'm sure we are all rooting for you having a queue of cash buyers suddenly discovering your property. Meanwhile, we've had quite heavy showers today. Of course it had to happen when I was struggling to move a heavy mis-delivered package from where it had been left, to my son's flat. Fortunately a helpful able-bodied gent saw me struggling to get the package off my rollator, up some big steps and into my car. He made it look easy. I managed to unload and get it into my son's flat round the corner without needing further help but I did get rather wet. Oh well. I suppose that's what retired dads are for. Love Ray xx
Hi Ray,It’s raining here now.Glad you got some help with the package,I don’t like to think of you struggling.John takes medication for his condition so hopefully he will pick up soon.I’ve been left with some heart anomalies since Pericarditis.Stress doesn’t help but I don’t usually get palpitations.Fingers crossed I can get an ECG soon and more house viewers.Jane x
We have had some heavy rain here.If it stops for a bit I will finish cutting up some foliage.I’m working on the muscle disease research instead.John is still not that well and my heart is not right so I’ll have to get that checked next week.It was good to see my sister yesterday as she dropped round after work.I haven’t seen her for almost 2 months so we caught up over tea and muffins.Jane x
