Just wanted to say, had my follow up csyscopy yesterday arranged by Guys hospital and I was put in the private sector at HCA next to guys. Well so plush, met and taken to you own room, TV, wet room, terrific veiw of London, everyone was so relaxed and put you at ease. All done very smoothly. After 6 bcg and 3 mitomycin it was a check to see if treatment worked, surgeon said she would remove anything she found. I had biopsies on red patches, which I am hoping will be due to treatment and not cancerous but have to wait for results. I felt fine after wards, no stinging or blood and no catheter. Watched TV in bed, nice sandwiches, very good menu offer and pot tea with China, cup and saucer, no plastic in there. I could have stayed the night, would have definitely slept as so quiet, but released in afternoon. Wish I could go there all the time. Just keeping fingers crossed now but feeling a little more hopeful.
Such a different experience to poor Garviv had.
Thanks Jane, yes fingers crossed. Have you got snow where you are?
