covid jab v bladder cancer ?

Hi,I haven’t had any treatment apart from bladder removal.I turned up for the first Covid jab and it was for the Pfizer vaccine.The nurse was asking me about allergies and I said I was allergic to Iodine and contrast dye.She said she was going to speak to the doctor who was present.He advised that I should be booked in for the AstraZeneca jab instead.I had the AstraZeneca jab a couple of weeks later.I had a headache and felt very tired straight after it.I felt a bit below par for a couple of days with a heavy arm but it wasn’t too bad really.Apparently the Pfizer vaccine can cause a worse reaction in people who have allergies.Love Jane 

Hi I am having bcg treatment and I was told to have covid jab 2 or 3weeks before starting the treatment  xx good luck for the future

I had my second AZ jab 12 days after my BCG without a problem.

(or if there was a problem it was hidden by the side effects of that last dose of BCG) 

I'm due for RC on Weds 5th of May, and I've been told it's perfectly safe for me to have my 2nd jab (AZ) on 29th April. Just ask you're clinical team - that's what I did. 

I had az vaccine after my 3rd bcg treatment, was fine,  as you say conflicting information online.
