Bile duct cancer

Hi Everyone.

I’m a panicked wife. Doctors are suspecting my husband has bile duct cancer. At moment they are going by what the mri and ct scan has shown . He’s going for an endoscopy tomorrow I’m just so worried. They think it has spread to the lung. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same place and if there’s treatment for this . Thanks for any help

Hi Rita, my husband had Bile Duct Cancer and it was also in his lungs. I beseech you ask for a gene blood test. If your husband had a mutant gene they can give him much more targeted drugs. Rather than the blanket Gen/Cis.
Also see about getting in touch with Prof Bridgewater at UCH in London. and go on this website. They are a charity for this pernicious type of cancer.
